$50 Program VoucherHappy New Year! As an added bonus for being a Kids INC participant, we are providing you with a $50 voucher towards any CE & Rec after school enrichment program beginning in January - April. You will be receiving, in the mail, directions on how to redeem the voucher as well as a list of classes the voucher can be applied towards. You can also view the list of classes here.
 Welcome to Kids INC!Kids INC is a program that encourages physical, emotional and social growth through play and recreation. Activities in the program include homework assistance, sports and games, arts, crafts, field trips and so much more! Kids INC consists of two programs: School Year Kids INC and Summer Kids INC.
Summer Kids INC Summer Kids INC provides a variety of activities throughout the summer for children entering grades one through six. A typical schedule will include group games in the gym, arts and crafts, board games, team sports outside, swimming, field trips, as well as time to just socialize and have fun with friends. Our energetic leaders are skilled in sports, game leadership, arts and crafts and age appropriate activities. Our staff is composed of college students, recent college graduates, teachers, educational assistants and parents. Each site has a supervisor who is responsible for the overall operation.
School Year Kids INC
The School Year Kids INC program allows children to work on homework, participate in various activities, play games, and create arts and crafts projects in a safe and fun environment. Staff is made up of retired and part-time teachers, current and former teaching assistants, and college students pursuing a degree in education. One parent stated “I think it is a wonderful program! I don’t have to worry about where my daughter is or being on the bus so much. Having retired/part-time teachers as staff is a plus! They are more knowledgeable about kids, behaviors and activities.” The program is available from 6:30 to 8:45 a.m. and 3:40 to 6:00 p.m. on all school days. The program also operates from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on most vacation days, and from 11:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all scheduled early release days. There is an annual registration fee of $30 per child or $50 per family. If your child is enrolled in the Summer Kids INC program, your annual registration fee for the following school year will be waived. How to Register
Registration is also available on-line by visiting our On-line Course Catalog. If you choose to complete a paper calendar, it must be turned into the Community Education & Recreation Department. There is also a drop box located outside the office. Calendars will not be accepted at the Kids INC sites. Registration must be completed prior to 4:00 PM on Wednesday before the week in which you wish to have your child enrolled.
Note: An Emergency Contact Form, Parent Code of Conduct, and Film Viewing Permission Slip must be submitted on an annual basis, separately for the School Year and Summer programs. These forms must be returned to the Kids INC site your child is attending on the first day he or she attends the program. See below for forms. |
